Relationships and Dating

Relationships can be complex and sometimes extremely challenging. The experiences we have with each individual in our lives require some form of connection and trust, yet sometimes we stay when there isn’t a connection or even trust.

On the other side of it, it’s just as complex and challenging for individuals who are single wanting to date, yet finding themselves constantly picking the wrong type of partner or having fear of rejection.

To be in a position where you are feeling lost in your relationship, not knowing who you are or who you have become, or the opposite, finding yourself lost not knowing how to maintain or get into a healthy relationship, can all be extremely challenging.

Issues that come up, such as infidelity, lack of connection and communication, can all be barriers for having the best relationship possible. If you are a person desiring to have healthy relationships- know that you are capable of having it!

Whether you have outgrown your relationship, stuck in an abusive relationship, overly romanticize, push people away, feel nervous about connecting/dating, have difficulty opening up or opening up too soon-- therapy can really be a helpful place to start.
